Two fuels, one smart system

The Details

With a traditional system, saving more meant using less. A Hybrid Heat system combines intelligent control of both gas and electric heating: no matter the outdoor temperature, it automatically selects the fuel source most efficient for your home. The furnace side runs from the Comfort 80 (80% AFUE) up to the Infinity 98 with Greenspeed Intelligence (up to 98.5% AFUE). The heat pump side runs from the Comfort (up to 16 SEER2, 8.1 HSPF2) up to the Infinity Variable-Speed (up to 20 SEER2, 9.5 HSPF2).

Good To Know

The pairing matters as much as the parts. We professionally match one of our heat pump units with a natural gas furnace so the two hand off cleanly through the seasons. As a factory authorized Carrier dealer we install and register the matched system, and we service and repair all makes and models afterward.

We called Central Heating & Cooling, Montgomery City MO, and they answered, took our name & said they would get to us as soon as they could.  That was at 10am on a Sunday morning. At 3:00pm that day Ben B showed up and within 45 minutes we had cool air again!  He was FANTASTIC!!  He knew what he was doing, did it efficiently and was also very nice and friendly. He even went into the crawl space under the house to make sure no mice had chewed through the wiring.  He was very methodical in his approach in diagnosing our problem. The Central repairman came very quickly and replaced the tubing. Then I remembered the worn out flapper in the toilet tank and he replaced that as well. Very professional and pleasant to work with.
